Information we collect

• Account information such as your name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Firebase, Google, or Apple.
• Visit and reward data, including merchant interactions, scan timestamps, reward status, and redemption history.
• Device and app information such as platform, browser, and basic usage events needed to keep the service working.
• Location data when you allow it, so we can verify that a scan happens near a participating merchant.
• Camera access when you scan QR codes. We do not use the camera to record video or photos for unrelated purposes.

How we use it

• Authenticate your account and keep you signed in.
• Process merchant scans, visits, loyalty progress, and rewards.
• Prevent fraud, duplicate scans, and self-scans where applicable.
• Send service messages and notifications when you opt in.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve app performance.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when needed to operate the service:

• With Firebase and related infrastructure providers that host authentication and database services.
• With Google or Apple when you choose those providers for sign in.
• With merchants for loyalty operations, such as confirming visit counts and reward redemption status.
• When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep account, visit, and reward data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting support.

Children’s privacy

2 fois is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

Your choices

• You can disable location or camera access in your device settings, but some features may stop working.
• You can sign out at any time.
• You can manage notification permissions from your device settings.
